Fall 2021 COVID Policy

GUIDANCE FOR PLAYERS

  • Must arrive at the fields with all uniform gear, and dressed prior (not at fields).
  • Should pass a health check, self-administered
  • Players are recommended to bring travel-size hand sanitizer with them for their personal use while at the facility.
  • Sharing of equipment among players is discouraged.
  • High fives, shaking hands, physical contact such as huddles, outside of play are discouraged.
  • If indoors, Players must maintain a social distance of 6ft or wear an appropriate mask
 

GUIDANCE FOR SPECTATORS

  • ALL SPECTATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD OF PLAY
  • May only sit in designated spectator areas
  • Must practice social distancing from others (6+ feet) while at the complex.
  • Under no circumstance can a spectator/parent approach or be in the designated team area, this includes suspected Injury to players, etc. Parents/Spectators must wait until an official calls for them IF needed.
  • For their safety, are not be allowed to be seated behind either goal even in the Spectator areas.
  • If indoors, Spectators must maintain a social distance of 6ft or wear an appropriate mask
  • Anyone feeling ill, having a high temperature, or the possibility of exposure to COVID19 should refrain from being at the Club's complex.

PLAYERS/COACHES RETURNING TO PLAY

Celebration Youth Soccer Familys relies on each other to be truthful and forthcoming about any interaction(s) they may have had with other individuals that result in any of the following occurences. 

  • Positive Test Result
    • If Player/Coach has tested positive for COVID-19 they must ISOLATE for a minimum of:
      • At least 10 days since symptoms first appeared AND
      • At least 24 hours with no fever without medication OR
      • If no symptoms, 10 days have passed since the date you had a positive test result.
  • Close Contact with Infected Person
    • If Player/Coach has been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 they must quarantine for a minimum of 10 days symptom free from the date of initial exposure to return to play.
    • If Player/Coach opts to get tested, this test must occur on Day 5 post exposure or later. A negative test result will allow them to return to play after 7 days symptom free from initial exposure.
      • What counts as close contact?
        • You were within 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more
        • You provided care at home to someone who is sick with COVID-19
        • You had direct physical contact with the person (hugged or kissed them)
        • You shared eating or drinking utensils
        • They sneezed, coughed, or somehow got respiratory droplets on you
      • Exceptions to this rule:
        • However, anyone  who meets the following criteria does NOT need to stay home.
          • Someone who has been fully vaccinated and shows no symptoms of COVID-19
          • Has COVID-19 illness within the previous 3 months AND
            • Has recovered AND remains without COVID-19 symptoms (for example, cough, shortness of breath)
  • Exposure to Infected Person, without Close Contact
    • If Player/Coach were notified that they were in the company of an individual (aka "casual contact") that tested positive for COVID-19 but not in close contact (as defined above) they will be asked to Quarantine for a minimum of 72 hours without any symptoms.
